Chris Matthews

Chris spent the early part of his career at Arthur Andersen, the global accounting firm, then moved into marketing and communications services, leading Shandwick Consultants, one of Europe’s largest corporate and financial communications businesses, where he worked directly for the Chairman and Boards of FTSE 100 and other companies.
In financial communications enormous store is set by the skill of writing “short”, quickly; the ability to reduce complex prose to its essentials whilst retaining readability, and it is this skill that he deploys on behalf of clients whose Board papers are often lengthy, convoluted and are hard to read.
Clients in this area include heavily regulated, high street banks and mutuals; firms in the global financial services space, global shipping, professional services firms and businesses in the automotive industry.
